Sometime in 2023, the Syrian job portal Job.sy, which connects job seekers with employers, suffered a data breach. A hacker known as whitenigger claimed responsibility for the attack, resulting in the exposure of approximately 231,673 records. Among the compromised data were usernames, email addresses, phone numbers, physical locations (in both Arabic and English), and passwords.
