In May 2022, Amart Furniture, an Australian retailer, allegedly suffered a cyber attack targeting its warranty claims database hosted on Amazon Web Services. The incident reportedly exposed more than 100,000 records. Among the compromised data were names, email addresses, physical addresses, phone numbers, and passwords stored as bcrypt hashes.
