In December 2013, AstroPID, a social engineering site providing tips on fraudulently obtaining goods and services, allegedly suffered a data breach of its vBulletin forum. The incident, later leaked publicly, reportedly exposed nearly 6,000 user accounts and more than 220,000 private messages exchanged between forum members.
