In August 2023, the financial services platform Karboncard experienced a significant data breach, exposing approximately 10,859,640 rows of data, including transaction records from the Union Bank of India and
5,294 unique email addresses. Among the compromised information were email addresses, names, phone numbers, physical locations, security credentials, bank account information, and IP addresses.
