In February 2016, the Russian gaming company Nival was the target of an attack that was later detailed on Reddit. The breach, which affected multiple Russian sites, compromised over 1.5 million accounts. The exposed data included birthdates, email addresses, genders, languages, names, profile photos, site activity, and usernames.
